2017 Hancock Prospecting Australian Shortcourse Swimming Championships

The 2017 Hancock Prospecting Shortcourse swimming championships will be held from October 26th to 28th. It is all about swimming here but there will also be a lot of other activities to enjoy from such as the numerous food trucks from Adelaide; some of the best one might say. There will also be face painting, making your own hero board and meeting them, playing giant games and even relaxing options in the chill zone of the venue. What will you be able to see here? Well Olympic champions Emily Seebohm, Kyle Chalmers, Mack Horton and Emma McKeon will take their best shot at the national title and there will be women’s sprint events where Cate Campbell, record holder will take part with her sister Bronte and other peers. There is also so much more to enjoy here.

The Renmark Rose Festival

This event is currently ongoing but will be around until the Sunday 29th October. If you love gardening or roses or if you know that you have a good green thumb this is one festival that you should not miss. There is so much to learn from here and this time the Renmark Township’s Rose Garden is celebrating 23 years of this festival. It is innovative and truly informative for those who wish to learn the nitty gitties of gardening and the secrets to having a gorgeous backyard. There are open gardens, art trails, demonstrations and so much more to enjoy.

The Sydney International Art Series; Nude Art

Held on the 05th of November this is one great event that anybody with a good eye and penchant for great art should not dare miss. The history of nude art is beautiful, glamorous and scandalous all at the same time and this collaboration between Tate, London and the Art gallery of New South Wales will tell you this elaborate tale via over hundred masterpieces that will span through two entire centuries. The work will include some of the most famed geniuses such as Pablo Picasso, Lucian Freud and Henri Matisse.
